Model pesach seder

Today we joined with the other pre nursery class and had a model Seder!

First, Leah (and Joshua from the other pre-nursery) pretended to be working so very hard to build buildings for King Pharoah in Mitzrayim (Egypt)

We sang some of our favorite pesach songs!

Pharoah did not let the Jewish people out of Egypt so Hashem made all the water turn into blood.

Pharoah still did not let the Jewish people out of Mitzrayim, so Hashem sent frogs to scare Pharoah.

Then Hashem sent wild animals and snakes....

Then it became dark in all of Mitzrayim and Pharoah and  the Egyptians couldn't see anything.

Finally Pharoah let the Jewish people go! Moshe led to the Jewish people across the water (Sea of Reeds)
and the water split so the Jewish people could go through on dry land!!!! We pulled candies off the walls of water as we crossed the sea:)

Kadesh - first we made kiddush and drank some grape juice.

Karpas : we dipped a piece of potatoe into salt water

Motzei Matza - we ate Matza crackers

We ate marror (lettuce)

Shulchan Aruch - We ate the egg  from the seder plate

Leah found the afikoman!!
